Another Best Buy story.

Hey dumb****. Guess what, if a customer isnt having an install done they cant enter the bay for liability reasons. Also the installers dont have to let people in the bay or answer the door. Ask a ****ing floor associate you ****ing arrogant prick. Seriously go die in a ****ing car crash you piece of shit.

Ya, And I know the ****ing store policy? Wheres the sign saying, dont try to talk to me,cause i could care less. To me the guy appeared to be a dick. And the kids they hire are not very knowing . also the kid I had come over was from the tv area or some shit. he was not in the Car area and knew nothing about it. He was trying to help by seeing if the had fuses in the install bay. What ever. I felt happy it happened to him. Maybe if he cam to the door, and said, sorry, I cant help you instead of ignoring me. then hey, maybe he wouldnt have cut his hand.But he didnt, and he did, so **** him, and you.

But I think you're right.. He would not have cut himself if he had helped you. Well most likely not.

If he's the only person in the car area, why was the "sales associate" with you?

I needed a fuse, so I check out BB, they got none on the shelf, but in the install bay is some more stuff. So i try to open the door to talk to the dude in there, he see's me and keeps working... So i knock and he ignores me. So i figure hes busy and wait a few minutes, like 5. So he walking back towards the door, and i knock again. He walks by. So I get the manager and we go to the door, next thing the dude opens the door and walks out, blood dripping all down his arm, I laugh at him, and say "hope it hurts" and tell him carma's a ***** aint it.

Or maybe he was actually very busy like we all get and was focused on finishing the hard task which caused him to cut himself while all you were worried about a fuse. Instead of being impatient and running to a manager you should have called down on the phone all best buys have phones in car audio which dial the bay directly.

 
Are you ****ing shitting me? Have you installed for other people? Maybe you have, but is your job on the line when you install? Do you do it for a living? Have you had to take the dash of a jetta apart? Seriously, Im sure the guy had something better to ****ing do than answer your question. Its his job to install, if I was installing and doing a difficult car and scratched myself, id say hey **** you. Im not gonna stop during the middle of doing something to answer the **** door. Also a ton of bestbuys dont allow the installer to have the bay key so sometimes they cant open the door themselves. Honestly Im so sick of people jumping on bandwagons. People talk shit on BB yet most of them are 16yr olds who have never worked a day in their life. GTFO

maybe if you worked there you would understand that sometimes the dude is busy with a bunch of b.s. when iw worked there there would be one customer who would piss me off for the day. always some ahole who want " a by 9" put in a 4 inch hole or something and the manager telling you to do it

 
Ok, number one, one of the guys I work with spent a lot of time at best buy.

2) He knows his shit, and does good installs, as do plenty of best buy employees.

3) Best Buy does not provide most installers with keys to even open the door.

4) You cant hate a TV salesman for not knowing what an ANL fuse is... most beginners in car audio haven't even used one.

5) Best buy installers are scheduled on productivity in the bay, meaning the more customers he helps unrelated to install, the less hours he will get a week, and they dont get commission.

6) A lot of Best Buys dont even carry anything beyond AGU and MAXI unless its a laarger store.

7) The sales associate should have simply rang the bay and asked.

***8***) Doing 12 volt for a living myself, nothing is more annoying than salesmen dumping customers on me while I have cars lined up. Salesmen are there to sell, installers are there to install. As an installer, we are often in pressured environments at work. One slip with that panel tool or screwdriver, resulting in a simple dash scratch could lead to a damage claim that puts your job on the line. Not to mention if you take 2 hours to do a CD player install, the people above you are going to realize you're not profitable to employ. And thats exactly what happens when every 5 minutes a salesman drops a customer on you or trys to call you to come out of the bay to help them.

Though I still help, to make business go smooth and customers happy..I dont really blame him, I dont just throw all my tools down and get up either, Ill finish whatever subtask I may be doing, like running a power line, or setting gains.

 
I've ****ing been there. Honestly this kid was probably the 10th that day that knocked on the door. With associated coming in and out of the bay to ask questions because BB lacks on the training in the Car Audio department, this guy was probably pissed off. It was probably the 3rd or 4th person to knock during that install and tell me how much does it irritate you when you get interrupted during something you are doing? How about if that something your doing is your job and what you are doing is very difficult? Seriously you people are so narrow minded it sickens me.

Yes, Im sure he was pissed off. Like most companies , do more with less attitude.

However, Thats not my problem. I went to a store to purchase an item and recieved poor service. both the install guy, and the other kids working there failed in thier jobs to make a sale. No wonder everone bashes them. I waited paitently, calmly for the dude to aknoledge, when he didnt I asked the tv dude if he could help, He went to the manager, not me.

In short, If your in the service industy, do your job or gtfo.
