ANL Question

On my Kicker ANL Fuse holder, it had so many hex screws, 2 on each side to tighten on the wire going in and going out, and two around the middle. I looked at it from it's side and I could see that screwing these lower would cause the screws to touch onto these skinny small metal sheets, and I assumed the screws are there for a purpose so I screwed them down to touch the metal sheets, is this right? the sheets are pretty flimsy so it looks like it bends the sheet a little so I made sure not to screw down too tight, scared of breaking it. Anybody know what I'm talking about?

By metal sheets, do you mean the contact tabs of the fuse itself? If so, don't worry about bending them a it. You need to tighten the screws to make sure that you have a good electrical contact and avoid a high resistance connection that will cost you power and heat up.

yes I think that's what I meant, and yep I tightened them so I think I'll be good on the amp install, just wondering though if I didn't tighten and it was supposed to be touching the tabs, wouldn't the amp not turn on at all because no connection? thanks for the help so far btw

You have to make aconnection somehow for the amp to powr up, yes. It is impossible to make too good a connection.
