Anbody Run a JBL 1200.1 at 1 ohm

Wanted to know if it was safe to run this amp in 1 ohm, without blowing it. I'm pretty sure it isn't 1 ohm stable but I am asking if anybody has had sucess with doing so

yup, its 1 ohm stable... i used it at 1 ohm for about 2 weeks, just pulled a lot of electricity.. (lights dimming) I've used the amp @ 1,2,4 ohms, all worked fine.

yeah just as mgaidca said....it runs fine at 1 ohm....just sucks a ton of power from your electrical system. i ran it at 1 ohm for about 3 months with no problem..until my alternator blew.
