well iam looking in to getting a SoundStream PIC4.640 or the Rockford Power 550X

I really dont know to much about SoundStream. Is says that the soundstream amp 1ohm stable. Is it a better amp than the RF

if the PIC means Picasso, then I say wow...

i don't think the RF's are in the same league as that amp... but picasso amps are 5 channel, from what I know of them. Price difference would be severe too. Picasso's 24kt gold plating gives an immediate feel of luxury.. I've seen a couple of cars with that single amp dab smack in the center of the boot... a truly wonderful sight.

What kind of equipments are you going to run off these amps? The RF seem mighty powerful for entry-level components.

Oh, it's not the picasso I had in mind... actually, I mistook it for the Davinci series..my bad.

Ok, the specs for the amp says 80w X 4 @ 4ohms. 80watts RMS will most probably blow your factory speakers to hell.

You also want to have the remaining two bridged, as I read in your other thread? That means 320watts@4ohms. I don't think an ED A would want just 320watts. A single K series might be a better choice for that sort of power.. it might just be me but i dont see a dual 2ohm ed K sub

all i see is a 4ohm single and a dual 4 ohm
