An Ideal 15" Box

Ooops. I only factored in 1 side of mdf. internal dims would be 15.5 right? I was using 16.25.

yes. that box would still give him about 1.9-2.0 cubes. giving it's a walmart sub, there probably isn't much displacement.

thanx for the link, but i kinda need an idea of what to tune it to. I have the whole rear seat of my truck to put a box, BUT i would like to atleast leave one seat for passengers.

Without the specs; you can't design a proper ported box for it. So, I wouldn't even waste your time. You'd have a much better chance of any kind of decent performance out of a generic sealed box.

i've never made a box before, so could you show some sympathy and help me with the dimensions.

I did; L x W x H = volume.

No need to spoon feed you here. This isn't complicated.
