Amps going into protection mode.

Need some help. So I have a double din kenwood reciver. Memphis 1 inch tweets. 4 x 6 1/2 in doors being driven by a dimond 600x4 amp. In the rear I have ported box with 4 kicker cvx 12 inch 2 ohm dual voice coil subs running at 2 ohms. The amps on them are 2 kicker cxa 1800.1 I have for power 2 1000 amp optima batterys and both have big 3 wireing. Alternator is 240 amp power bastard and 0 gauge wire running from front to amps with idle power at 14.6 measured at amps. System off Everything is hooked up good and has great power and sound but at idle to 1200 rpm amps go into protection mode for 6 or so seconds before coming back on. Does this seem like a power issue because thinking of adding a second alternator if so. Just trying to get some ideas,
