Amps for L7's

what else should i look into buying....i'll be running it on the stock headunit in my acura for about a month until i order a new headunit.....equalizers, capacitiors...

you won't need a Cap. Just change your battery and do the big 3 and if you need to get more power than that then look into a new alt. In EQ? what kind of H/U do you have? See what you can change from the H/U itself and if you need more control then that get an External EQ or maybe a better H/U with a built in EQ.

i'll be running it on the stock headunit for a little while....i plan on purchasing a kenwood 8017 in a few months but for now its the stock bose headunit in my acura....i was thinking of purchasing an external eq just for the time being....and also what do you mean by the big 3...sorry new on the boards

 
since your going with the orion, i would suggest the 2500d and get a pair of d4 L7's.
1 amps is easier to work with than a pair....or 4 for that matter:eyebrow:
I agree completely, L7's are power hungry. They really need a lot of power before they start to sound awesome.
