hey i am planning on buying 2 infinity kappa 10.1 subs for my 96 integra gsr. i am still unsure of what type of amp i should buy, or amps. the subs are rated at 350 watts with 4ohms. my freind has a set up with 2 kicker amps. i am not sure which kind, ut odes any one have any suggestions for what amps would work best. i am planning on 2 and the price range is almost unlimited.

also what would be the recommended box setup for this?

does anyone know if i would have to un another amp if i get components and rear speakers........probably gonna be the infinity perfects...........

thanks for anyhting

Well, I don't have any personal experience with perfects. I do know however that they are pretty much SQ subs. I've heard on these forums not to give them any more than recommended RMS power or you'll blow them straight to hell. Stay in those guidelines and they'll give you a long life of excellent sq. As far as amps go, to recommend a mfg would be totally opinionated and thats not what you need. You need to find a range of amps that put out the power you need then pick your brand name. Thats the only way I can help you without recommending "my" favorite brand of amp.

I'm sorry, I forgot to recommend a box type.....a sealed enclosure would be the best possible enclosure for those subs. Sealed enclosures are the "hands-down" best type for SQ. Thats my opinion but I bet just about everyone on here would agree.

i just ordered a set of 10.1D's to replace my w3v2's and i am putting them in a ported box with 1.25ft^3 each, tuned to 32Hz, and a JL 500/1 to power them.

I should know how it sounds a week from thursday. (after break in)
