In the audio world there is lots of comedy. In the electronics sector, people have
their heads stuck deep in books that they fail to see the world around them.
Things they see on a scope are automatically assumed to be audible. It seems
very few people study human perception of amplified signals and these circuit
designers are usually stuck trying to solve problems that don't really exist when
you factor in the human variable.

These people are skilled electrical people, yet many things they say is just wrong.
