Amplifier Cuts Out

It's a MTX4250D. There is no indicator lights but it still has power. the unit gets hot after playing, then it comes back on after it takes a break. I have been told that it is a design flaw with MTX. Supposedly they some giant caps inside the amp that don't disipate heat very well.

I don't know much about the particular amp model number but I do know that my MTX 1500 heats up all the time. Before they had what I call the chrome series amps, MTX put out the amp I have now and I remember reading a review of how the heatsink was ineffiecient at dissipating heat well. Something about the design of the thing; I can't find the review online anymore but I know I read it. Don't know if what I just typed is relavent or applies to your amp but that is my experience with their amps.

Like @maylar said, delay the turn on to the amplifier only. 3 to 5 seconds should take care of it.
