Amplified Subwoofers...Suggestions?

Hi! Nice place. I am looking for some amplified subs for my room(i'm crazy..).

I the best i found(except bazooka) r:

I heard that Boss audio sucks, but do u have any suggestions? Anything around 250W RMS is fine...(maybe too much). Or i could built mine..

Also one question...Since it is for my room, i will need a 12V or 24V transformer at the same power output as the amplifier to get max power, isn't it?

the bazooka tubes are actually pretty good i heard.

I don't think bazooka r good,(from the reviews) but i heard that Adire have the best quality at low cost. Any further help?
