I was testing a used amp going out to a customer and decided it would be fun to take a video. Whenever I sell a used, b-stock, or refurbished amp it goes on my test bench on the Mags at "1/2 ohm" nominal (0.6 measured DCR at the end of the speaker wire).

And yes... I beat on the Mags like that every time I test an amp.

The test continued for about 15-20 more minutes to get the amp warmed up to make sure it was in good working order.

mags continue to impress. Good combo of amp and subs.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

You got what, like 1.5" of excursion?
No way to measure it really... it was quite a bit, in person the movement appears to be even more than the video shows due to my camera not being the best for high speed video. It's enough to rock the enclosure back and forth and it's a double baffle MDF box.

Skip01,

It drops into the 20s frequency wise when they start moving really far. It's number 18 on the Bass Mekanik 5.0 CD.

nice.

just an FYI -

i got the amp today ,a day earlier than expected. you sure this thing is used? lol. it looks mint.

ill post up a short review once i get everything together.

Thanks again.

Yessir, the Team guys tend to take care of their amps for the most part //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Most of the used amps looks very near mint. I have a few ugly ones that I will be selling eventually *laughs*

Wow that's a high tuning point for a test box running the subs that low. Clearly they are unloading, and dont really mind. lol
Indeed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I turn it down a bit for that track compared to the higher stuff I use to power test the amps with my clamp. The box rise is very little @ 55 Hz and mechanical movement is minimal so I can put tons of juice on the Mags to bench test amps.
