Amping speaker help!!

Hey guys.

I've got a quick question about amping my speakers. So got the amp installed alright, but I'm just wondering where the best place to run the speaker wire to is. As in, is it best to run the speaker wire from the amp to the back of the head unit? Or to under the dash or in the door looms? I'd prefer to do it in the head unit, because it's a brand new car and door wiring looms annoy me something chronic. Is there anything wrong with running the amplified wire to the speakers through the back of the head unit?

The amp is a 4 channel, running 6.5" splits up front with 6.5"s in the back.
