amping door speakers

I have a pioneer head unit in my car, with jl speakers in all of the doors. Would amping the speakers benefit me at all? they sound pretty good right now without a amp.

Yes, it's very benefitial to add an amp to boost your mids and highs.

EDIT: Adding an amp on mids/highs will make them sound cleaner while getting louder. Just dont clip the signal...
