Ampere Audio Amps

IM the dc and ampere rep on the forum here. I’ve ran both amps my tfhe did run warm at .5. But never protected. Just remember like with all big amps. Keep them off the box and you’ll be fine

 
What coils? Can you strap at 1, 0.5 per? The 5k's would be viable there.

But imo, id do the 9k over the 10k. Id probably consider the 7.5k over the 10k if i was wiring low also

 
For what it's worth, I'm currently running a loaner SCV-7500. Clamping 4500 watts rising to 1.9, with voltage dropping to 12.5ish.

The brief amount of time the Nendo 12k lasted, it clamped 6k and got me a 1db gain. Really need to clamp 6k+ to get me over 155.

I'd do two 5k's if my wiring options were good for it. But with 2, I can only wire to 1 ohm per amp or 1/4 ohm per amp. Neither of those are ideal to me. And I'm not keen on reconing what's essentially brand new subs.
That's perfect. 1 ohm for daily .25 for competitions. Their 5K is a known reliable board.

New amp, a Nendo 12k, popped in 30 minutes. They made it sound like they'd warranty it, and then charged me $220, and it cost me $80 to ship it to them.

Got the another back and it looked like they'd dropped it on the floor of their facility half a dozen times. Lots of damage that I do not believe happened in shipping. Had a show coming up and had to install. It popped in 45 minutes.

After being lied to a bunch of times about when my refund would arrive, I made a FB post post about it that went viral within an hour. The owner and all employees posted in it and made a complete *** of themselves. 2 days later I had $1900 of the $2400 I had in it refunded to me.

 
As soon as I can afford it, all Nendo gear will be removed from my car and thrown in the dumpster and replaced with something else.

It was a joke.. I was the one who posted in your last post about your 12k saying how many issues i've had with Crescendo amps, speakers, and their customer service. I will never buy from them again.

Wow. That should have never happened. Esp the owner...should be repremanding his employees and taking care of the situation. Not make it worse. That's pretty "tragik".

I don't think they ever had good customer service, notorious for not answering phones and very slow replies to emails. The "good" amps that got them started were the same boards Sundown was using in a gold heatsink. Guess they got burned with a bad "12K" amp and are going to lose their arse.

I heard from EXO that something fishy was going on with those big amps about a year and a half ago but didn't catch the whole story.

Again, if Sundown got a bad batch of boards they could use their buying quantities to bully the buildhouse into making it right and they have enough cash flow to eat a dud product worst case scenario. The "value" brands have neither and you get Diablo 2500 or RD 3250v2 fiascos that put them out of business and leave consumers holding the bag.
