This will be powering 2 IDMAX 15s. The Orion I've heard comes with a birthsheet of around 3700 @ 1 ohm and the Wolfram has been benched at 3300 @ 1 ohm. Orion rated on 12.6v and Wolfram 14.4. I know both will be overpowering but I will lower the gain. I want extra power incase I upgrade. The Wolfram is $100 cheaper. I've read the Orion isn't very efficient but I don't really understand how that works.

I would be surprised if the XTR "Only" put out 3700W on the birth sheet. My 2500.1DZ came in at 2990W on it's birth sheet at 12.6 (And my dyno shows it does every bit of that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I like the Wolfram, and I like the Orion. The Wolfram is closer in power to a XTR2500.1Dz, in which case the Orion 2500 is about $150 cheaper than the Wolfram. However I think the Wolfram 3000.1D vs Orion XTR2500.1Dz, I would go with the Wolfram (If money wasn't a issue)... If your doing XTR4000 vs Wolfram, I would lean towards the 4000....

Ive only found one video on the xtr and it showed 3700 on the birthsheet but like you said i wouldnt be surprised if it did more. And that was at 12.6. Im leaning morevand more toward xtr

The more efficient an amp is, the cooler it will operate, also will be less taxing on your electrical system in your car, which will need to be upgraded to run the power that you are inquiring about properly dude.

Thanks for the explanation. I already did the big 3 with 1/0 and plan on getting an XS power d3400 and 270a alternator

Ive seen so many amps done this way over the years. Especially ones that had the Molex plugs and a couple others

Yes, they do. As for the Taramps remote control, it is for use with the EQ they sell, not as a remote bass knob. They are not very sophisticated...
