Amp wont power up after FUSE blow?? Visonik4000D

I blew my 150amp power fuse on my power line with my Visonik 4000D, replaced the fuse properly just now, and the amp still isnt powerring up or the LED coming on. I know I should have bigger than a 150 but they dont sell them local and Im waiting on my 300a fuse, but this should work fine on low gain like I have it for now.

Is there anything I can do or anything that needs to be done? Never had this fuse blow before so I dont know

Thanks

I did check my power wire fuse, it was blown. Why would that F my board? I thought that was the purpose of a fuse up there......

I'll have to check for power @ the remote but Im sure its there since my other amp that tee's off this remote line still has power....

The fuse protects the wire from drawing too much current and melting. It is NOT there to protect the amp.

Check and make sure you're actually getting 12v at the amp's terminals before worrying about if your amp is fried. Be worried when you get 12v across the power and ground and then 10v at the remote to ground. At that point, I would be worried about your amp and I would check for any blown on-board fuses (if they have any).

How do you check for power from power terminal and remote terminal?? Is that what you mean?

Im checking this as soon as I get off work, I ****in hope it aint broke, I just got the dam thing

OK, so im an idiot. I took a multimeter out to see what voltage I was getting at the amp, ofcourse, remote was 12V but the power wire at the amp terminal was 4.6mV. So the amp isnt even getting power from the batterys. Checke voltage at the battery 12.8V resting, probe power wire a few inches after the battery fuse and theres no power there. Unwrapped the stinger 150A fus ethat I had just put in, and sure as shit, its blown, the fuse flew nicely on this one, the first fuse MELTED. Heres a pic of it.

So why is my car blowing front fuses? The ground isnt shorting out, its a perfect 10" to a solid chassis mount. Power wire shorting? Shoulda used a gromet on the power wire firewall hole.....? I guess I'll have to check that

Shoulda bought 2 fuses ****it, Just bought some 300's off ebay though
