I am going to be installing my system in a couple of weeks and want to get things figured out ahead of time. This will be my first full install but I have wired up single amp configurations for friends. First off I know the amps are not the greatest but I have them and I don't have the cash to replace them...yet. This is all going into a 2007 Dodge Ram quad cab.
Here's my set up:
Kenwood DDX6019 HU
Pioneer TS-A6982R's fronts: 4 way 6x9's 80 rms 440 max
Pioneer TS-G671M rear's: 4 way 6.5's 50 rms 260 max
(2) JL audio 12w3's dual 4 vc: 350 rms 500 max
(2) Crunch Drive Series V200SE's(specs are probably overrated, but I can't check them
100x2@4ohms
175x2@2ohms
350x1@4ohms
700x1@2ohms
Almani CA-1400(also probably overrated)(and yes it says 1ohm stable)(got it free)
75x4@4ohms
125x4@2ohms
250x2@2ohms
500x2@1ohm
I put together a wiring diagram with each crunch pushing the JL's and the Almani pushing the doors but I am not sure if I should use the almani on the Subs and one Crunch for the rears and one for the front. I'm open to suggestions on how you guys feel would be best. I have 4 gauge wire now and am not sure if I will be bumping it up to 2 or 0 guage, couse then I have to get new dist. blocks and the wire, which I am already tapped out because of the DDX-6019 purchase, and the wife is already pissed
.
I would like to get the subs 350w rms but I'm having a brain fart on how to wire up a dual 4 ohm sub to 1 bridged amp and keeping it @ 4ohms.
Let me know if you guys would change anything and chime in on the couple of questions I have....heres the link to the wiring diagram.
