amp wiring problems

ok i got a profile 1200w 2 channel amp http://www.profileusa.com/products_amps_ap.cfm

and i upgraded my wiring to 4 gauge today

i have 2 12" Hifonics HFi12D4

i have them hooked up like this

I keep getting the protection light with no output idk what i did wrong does anyone have any idea why?

Check the wiring on the subs to make sure you don't have the + to + (instead of 1 run of + to - on each subas then you'll be running 1 ohm mono to the amp and i don't think that amp is capable of doing that. try running it into 2 ohm stereo first. run each sub to 1 channel and then wire the sub + to + and - to - so the amp will see 2 ohm stereo. to me the wiring on the link doesn't look right for some reason...here are the 2 ways you can do it with your subs to 1 channel. scroll down to the 2 sub setup

so i should wire it to ++ and -- and then connect it without bridging? that diagram shows Dual-4 Ohm Subwoofers: 1 Ohm

i kno i tried wiring it ++ and -- and its still got the protection light. when i hook up my ela 300w bazooka amp it works fine so idk why its got the protection on

It was an example of how to wire the subs which was the point in question...do not run them + to + and - to - cause that will run @ 1 ohm mono BUT 2 ohm stereo if the subs are wired to themselves and you run the amp 2 channel. .......look at the other side of the diagram. i thought i said this above but maybe not? you do not want to try and run that amp at anything below 4 ohm mono or 2 ohm stereo..........

He got the original wiring diagram from sucksfield right?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif.............. i wonder if it's the amp or the way the subs are wired, since he says they run fine of the zook amp????? you do not want to try and run the profile amp at anything below 4 ohm mono or 2 ohm stereo..........try hooking up just one sub wired to 4 ohms or even 2 but don't bridge the amp when doing this...just try to get some sound outta the amp.....

ive tried that it doesnt work. are these subs not compatible?
