I am getting a Kenwood KAC-8402 amp to run my fronts and my sub. The fronts are Clarion SRR1616 (35W RMS) and the sub is a Kicker TC10 (150W RMS)? I plan to put the amp in the trunk with the sub. The info on the amp says it requires 8 gauge wires. Which wiring kits would you guys recommend?

Also, since I'm new to this, is that amp is right for the job?

So 4 gauge is the way to go? What about the fuse rating? 40A x 1 for the Kenwood but the Knukonceptz comes with 120A fuse. I would have to buy a Mini ANL (MIDI) 40A fuse from them to right?

The inline fuse is sized according to the wire size, not how much current your amp(s) will draw. The fuse is there in case something happens to the power wire causing it to short to the car metal, to protect you from a fire. It isn't there to protect the amps from drawing too much power. The amps have their own internal fuses for that.

So you would use the 120A fuse that comes with the kit.

Hope this helps!
