Amp wiring kit help

Ok I have an Audiopipe AP-15001D Amplifiers | AP-15001D and i need to know whats a decently priced (around $50) wiring kit for my amp. Im looking to get a 4ga kit like this AUDIOPIPE 2100 W 4 GA GAUGE CAR AUDIO PLATINUM AMP/AMPLIFIER WIRE INSTALL KIT | eBay but im not sure if its right for my amp plus i have a SA-12 i need to hook up to it need wire for that also.
So I clicked on that ebay link..

A "2100 watt" wiring kit that comes with an 80amp fuse? *Chuckle*

The fuse rating says a lot IMO. Skip. I admit that it's not a bad value if you consider all the other things includes (speaker wire, RCA, etc) but if the vendor does not trust its wire with a fuse rated for 100-120amps, then it's not a good power wire.

Get something like this:

StreetWires ZN5K-04 (ZN5K04) Zero Noise 4 AWG Amplifier Kit

This comes with oversized true to gauge 4awg power wire good for 150amps of current (the 150amp fuse with fuse holder is included). Note: this does not come with RCA cable or speaker wire. Buy those separately.

Someone also recommended knukonceptz products. This is very good stuff too. I got some wires and distribution blocks from them.

^^ just more proof knu does the customers right they sell u what u pay for. Not a 1" jacket and call it 4awg like most.
^Agreed... I bought an expensive kit on eBay for $60 then I turned around and bought the 0ga from knukonceptz got a deal the whole kit for $80 shipped and it was twice as thick and twice as flexible and I noticed when I switched my Big III over to the Knu it had less corrosion and my dimming got a little better. Deffinatly go with the Knu that 8ga is all you will need.

For the price get this: 8 Gauge Amplifier Installation KitTheir 8ga is the size of most brands 4ga haha and I ran 4ga to my AP1500.1D it won't accept much bigger anyways.

That's a B.S. claim. I have 8 gauge wire from knu and also a 4awg wire from an older Streetwires kit (the one that comes with 'only' a 100amp fuse, the newer kits come with better wire and 150amp fuse). No comparison. The 8gauge knu wire would fit in places where there is no way the 4awg streetwires wire would fit. The 4awg wire is much thicker.

Now it is true that a lot of amplifiers will not accept much bigger. I still wouldn't run a 16ft long 8awg wire all the way to some of those amps. Maybe 4awg, followed by distribution block, and then short 8awg wire.

Bullshit in some cases but not many not to mention knu wire is Oxygen free so it doesn't corrode as fast and is more efficient. Wire is one place too many people cheap out on and honesly that streetwire kit doesn't look any better than the Knu kit and the Knu kit is like half the price... If you're going to spend that much on wire then get: http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KOL-AK4-4

I've never heard of that streetwire stuff and I wouldn't trust it at that price... I'd much rather the 4ga Knuconceptz for cheaper better RCA's im sure too.

So you think buying that knu 8ga wire would be fine for my amp and sub, also eventually im going to get another SA-12 if that matters.
Absolutely not. Check the recommendations for this wire on knukoncepts web site. 60amps of current. Now check the fuse rating of your amplifier. I guess you could still run your system with that wire, but the voltage drop will be significant. Like I said, it's an exaggeration to claim that knukoncepts 8awg wire is so good that you can skip on 4awg. You could probably run your get on that 8awg wire, but the voltage drops could become an issue.

Well, that's your experience, but there is tons of feedback on streetwires stuff. I have the reverse observations here. I personally have use two of their kits before I head of knukonceptz. I am not advocating either brand. Both are good brands. I'd say just buy the one that's cheaper. knukonceptz wire is very good and also the price is fine considering you don't have to buy the whole 'kit' sometimes. But it's an exaggeration to say that their 8awg is as good as other's 4awg wire. I smell fanboyism. knukonceptz recommends their 8awg wire for only up to 60amps of current, which is less than the fuse rating on my 4channel MB Quart REF4.80 (4x80watt amplifier). They also recommend their 4awg wire for up to 150amps of current, which is impressive (though streetwire's more expensive 4awg kit also has this rating).
