Amp Trouble

the problem is that my amp will power itself off when i connect my four 12s and turn up the volume, because of that i usually run just two 12s.

why.... why 2 sets of diffrent subs.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
anyways what kinda of subs are they DVC SVC?? what ohm are they.
i know i shouldnt have but the second set were free and i got bored one day

It's because you can't run two different brands of subs on the same amp... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Sorry... I couldn't help myself. It's shutting itself off because when you wire 4 SVC 4 ohm subs in parallel, you get a 1 ohm load, at which that amp is not stable. In essence, by shutting itself off, it is telling you to stop being retarded. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif The only way your setup would work is if you wire two subs in parallel on each channel. Don't bridge the amp.
