amp to subs help

How do you get .5 ohms? and how would u know if the amp is .5 stable?

Each one parallel to 1 ohm, then both parallel again to 0.5

The amp's specs will tell you if its 0.5 stable.

so i would wire those two subs to a 1ohm load? and that would be about 800 watts into each sub?

little less than 800, that amp is overrated, but its a good match.

wire both of them in parallel (each sub to one ohm) you can't "tell", (correct me if i'm wrong) has to be a good 1 ohm stable amp, and just have REAL good electrical to back it up. and I wouldn't suggest running a daily setup at .5 ohm

Some amps are stable from the factory to 0.5, it'll say so on the spec sheet. Running a 1 ohm stable amp at 0.5 isn't recommended for anyone who doesn't know 100% what they're doing.

I'll be installing 2 DVC2 mags to 0.5 on my Lanzar 2000D for 2kw.

you said, "if you wire a 4ohm sub to 1 ohm, you will get .5 ohm?"

a single dvc 4 ohm sub cannot be wired to 1 ohm, only 2 ohms, or 8 ohms. even if they where 2 dvc 4 ohm subs, they can only be wired into 1 ohm, or 4 ohms..
