amp to sub

hey im a noob to car audio and the forum

im putting subs into my car and im trying to do everything right the first time

ive already spent a little time readin around the forums

my question is this,

what is the best gauge wire to use when going from the amp to the subs

if its kinda a situation specific question

its a hifonics brutus bx1605d amp

and two hifonics atlas as12 subs wired at 2 ohm pushing 1100 watts

hopefully

nothing is installed yet

any other helpful advice is welcome

i have 12 or 14 guage speaker wire i think. i cant remember, ill have to check. but as far as whats best or correct im not sure. but let me know how those hifonics 12s sound. i was thinking of getting some soon but couldnt find any reviews or feedback on hifonics subs
