amp to run two 12'' IDQ

After buying the two subs I only save around 350-400 dollars in my budget. Since the arc audio amp sets around 500, I am looking for something more in the range i specified. Suggestions welcome for either the 4 or 2 ohm versions

i had a friend who ran some Kicker L7 10s off an Autotek SM1-1500 put out 1500 watts at one ohm. just watch your gain and volume knob and you could run that i've seen them on ebay for 159.00 sounded good in his car. or you could see if you could find some Sundowns amps for the low low.

I've never heard it paired up with the IDQ's, but I'd be willing to bet it sounds amazing. Small footprint, great SQ, seems (at least on paper) to be a great mate for the sub. And a great deal at $350.

BTW, you have good taste in subs. I run an IDQ 10 and love it.

Alright well here is the deal. I ended up purchasing the 4 ohm 12" IDQ's and I was able to scrounge around some more money so now I am looking to spend 500 tops. nothing more then that. Hooking it up for 1 ohms. I am open for some other suggestions on par with the arc audio amp suggested since that was the one I was looking at for the 2 ohms .

geeze, I didn't even look but I guess the arc 1000.1 would still be my best option with 1000 @ 1 ohm. Do you all think so too?

Don't get why so many people hate on Hifonics. I believe it took one person who everyone thought they knew what he was doing and said that Hifonics is junk.

That amp would be fine for those speakers, actually perfect, since you know they are overrated and all.

I have run nothing but Maxxsonic products the last few years.....well whenever they changed over to them just about and have never had any problems. Priced right and reliable in my hands on time with them.

But you are on a site who loves sundown, FI, AQ, RD and namely the internet brands. Like Sundown, but had horrible luck with my FI sub.

I tend to go against the grade or grain......whatever it is on here when it comes to equipment.

If anything and you have the dough, check into the ID amps. On budget, can't go wrong with Hifonics.
