the sub will be here friday. Right now I have a PG Xenon 400.1 to run it off. will this be enough power for it? Is there a better amp to run this sub? I havent had one of these and dont know how much power they like. wanted to get another MB Quart raa2400 to run it but it wont do mono 2 ohms. would going to a 600.1 help?

If you can give it 500-700 watts wired @ 2 Ohms or 8 Ohms you will be happy. It is rated for 400 watts max thermal so the 400.1 should also work out nicely.

i would pick up a 600.1 if you could, and just set the gain /w a dmm

i use a MRD-M501 on mine. the extra power does help when you need that energy burst.
