amp to factory head unit?

sup all, anyone know if Best Buys is giving me B.S. when they say they have to chrg me an exstra $50 per line/channel of a 4 channel amp to connect it to my 2009 factory Chevy Cobalt head unit since that uit doesn't come with RCAs out?

Bad enough paying Best Buys $80 to put in the amp, but the n charges me another extra $200 sounds bogous. what u all know please?

You are going to want an amp with speaker line inputs. You will have to splice into some speaker wire and run it to your amp. Im sure you can find some info in these fourms if you look around. I personally have never done this so i cannot help you too much. Good luck.

Best Buy RAPES you on LOC installation. line out converter... i have a ford taurus and i cant put a head unit... tap into the rear speakers and now youll have rca's... a little hit in sq... but i dont much care...
