I don't know anyone with a system that could handle my amp. I feel like that is a better idea that taking someone else's amp, then the test is more consistent. But I'd do both if I could. Don't know anyone who is into car audio like I am. It's a lonely life.I'm a at loss at this point. But....if you could find another amp, I would borrow it and see if it does the same thing. If not, you know what the issue is.
Oh and don't minf papermaker85....he's sorta the forum idiot/village idiot.
I don't know any experts, especially where I live.Like I said it's a reach... this problem is perplexing... just park it in some experts driveway and hand them the keys and $200... I'd bet they'll fix it/find the problem quick... LOL!
The thing is or doesn't make sense that it would, it only happens with mine when I turn it up to full volume. I have it at-7db on sub volunteer on hu and it's doing fine. But considerably less bass.Buy another amp. Doesn't even have to be an expensive one either. Then hook it up, try it out and see if it does the same thing.
He is a retard. Replace all the fuses. The thing is or doesn't make sense that it would, it only happens with mine when I turn it up to full volume. I have it at-7db on sub volunteer on hu and it's doing fine. But considerably less bass.
I asked them specifically, these guys know me by my first name. I've always went to them for everything, never even tried to **** me over. A little pricey but that's to be expected. Are you sure the shop you took the sub and amp to actually tested it at full power for 30 mins... that sounds unlikely to be honest. I betting they only tested it at partial volume with short full power bursts at best. Probably in fear they would blow your equipment
I have replaced them all except 1. I have 1 original fuse that has never blown, although the other 3 have. I blew 3 fuses a while back when I accidently did my inputs backwards. He is a retard. Replace all the fuses.
Are you thinking crossing the L/R RCA inputs blew the fuses?... or did you mean you mean the power wires were crossed?.. and that blew them?..I have replaced them all except 1. I may be wrong I think it only blew 2 fuses. But my power and ground inputs. It worked fine for over a month after that. Tbh I think it's unrelated. Are you thinking crossing the L/R RCA inputs blew the fuses?... or did you mean you mean the power wires were crossed?.. and that blew them?..
It might or might not... I'd get a loaner installed, buy a backup anyways or something along those lines... you gotta' be tired of this continual cycle of the same questions over and over... I know I am... LOL!.. get a different amp to try... something tells me you MIGHT find the problem...I may be wrong I think it only blew 2 fuses. But my power and ground inputs. Replacing good fuses isn't gonna solve his issue dumbfuck. He is a retard. Replace all the fuses.
