amp selection..

tomorrow i will be buying a quantum audio 15 spl + ported box from a friend of mine. I will be buying a new amp and wanted you guys thought on this..i was looking at the Audiopipe AP1500.1 or the Quantum Audio QB1500D. They both run around the same price so i was wondering if the the QA amp and Sub would play better together since they are the same name brand (if that even matters at all). I just want to know what will be the best buy for the price. Thanks

I have seen only a few Quantum amps, and i have never thought that a single one did rated or even close to it. I would go AP

alright sounds good..i was sorta leaning towards that one already just wanted some more knowledgeable feedback.

There are a lot of people on this forum running audiopipe and say they will do rated power. Havent seen anyone talk about quantum. So I would say stick with the audiopipe.

of those 2 i would go with the ap, you could also look into a mb quart dsc1500.1d

i ran one of them on a single 12 and was doing 140 and 40 hz
