ok talked to powerbass there are no authorized internet dealers period.so all the ones you see on line are either warrantied by the seller or old stock.all the asa amps are class ab or d if its the bigger mono block . asa has a 600 .4 100 x 4 , the atm is a smaller amp, size wise,660.4 which is 100 x 4 ,and the class d amp is the xax 4160 100 x 4 ,these are all rms ratings .will pm you prices now

Nice Catch, I had no idea that the XAX is the only full range class D amp. Their website is misleading.

out of all the amps listed the xax are built the best.but i have never had any problems with any powerbass amps ever.and i ran 2 xta 5000s in my truck and would strap them at .7 when i competed

wouldn't touch any of those except maybe the ppi,look at some of the powerbass 6x9s too they have some nice ones and some at 3 ohms too

Whats the advantage of a 3ohm speaker?

they'll get louder ,pull more power from your amp ,and not overheat the amp

And if possible, you might even wanna think about just doing some 6.5 in place of the 6x9, perhaps their would be a bit more of a quality selection. If your clarions keep crapping out, don't expect any of the cheaper, terrible brands to do any better man!

Im i'm gonna run a 3 ohm speaker in parrallel, that means it will drop the amp to 1.5 ohms? Don't know if that will work with the XAX 4160. Only gives info about running 4 and 2 ohms.

it prolly will work but still be hard on the amp ,how many sets of 6x9s are you running

Meh, dropping down to 1.5 on a multi-channel? Sounds pretty risky, though I'm sure someone with a bit more experience could chime in on that.

really just depends on actual impedance on the 6x9s , but you are right that is a little risky.if he is trying to run 4 6x9s i'd get either 4 ohm speakers or 2 xax amps for the tower.just to be on the safe side.they are very small anyway

8 6x9s on the tower, all of 1 xax amp. 4 6x9s inside on a second xax amp.

The power bass L-6903x (100w rms) looks like a good option, but yeahs its 3 ohms. However I would prefer these if i could run 8 of them at 1.5 ohms on 1 XAX amp

The cadence speakers look pretty good also

The CS3.69 is a safe option with a rating of 175 rms

I would prefer the XS694 (4-way) but its rating is only 75w rms. The XAX pushes out 100W (4ohms) 160w (2ohms). So theres a good chance i'd blow these puppies.

Maybe someone with some expertise can give a more detailed answer on running a 1.5 ohm load on the XAX amp?
