I had fabulous service and lightning fast turn around from audiotekx.com, they serviced, cleaned, and replaced the leaking caps in my rare Orion XTR-200. It took the Fedex ground people longer to find the place than it took them to service it and get it back to me. A big thumbs up to Audiotekx! It was because of this thread that I knew they existed.

They were the first to respond to my inquiry as well. I emailed all 5 and only got two responses back and Audiotekx was also the fairest price-wise.

i just sent mine in to kicker, but it was a kicker amp. anyways, i jsut posted to bump it again until it gets stickied. Someone PM it to a mod.

^Yeah but sometimes those companies won't repair some amps [usually older ones] anymore; or repair through the manufacturer may be pricey.

Nice to have a list of sites doing amp repair, however has anyone dealt with any of these guys? I.e. Are there any reviews/feedback on any of them?

You also have to remember companies get bought out by other companies and do not offer any kind of service on the older amplifiers. Case in point Orion being purchased by DEI = no service.

Zed Audio should be added to that list.

From what I've read they repair any of the different old school amps they made for different companies down through the years.
