DFW Amplifier repair.? ....... My old school JL Audio Slash 600/1 v3 has a small amount of rumble white noise that I was able to isolate to the internal crossover. When the crossover is on 12dB or 24dB it has this random noise.... Turn it off no noise quite as can be... Check all the grounds no issues been installed for 6 years and just started in the couple of months.

Any recommendations on who to take it to in DFW?I am near McKinney... I know from talking with friends that this amp hits hard and I love it. But need somewhere to take it that is a trusted.. Otherwise I will just buy a separate active crossover and move on... Thanks MP

I can't provide specific recommendations for repair shops, but you might want to check local car audio forums or groups for trusted repair services in the DFW area.

Yes I of course tried that unfornately the the multiple places that popped up stated will not work on car audio or home audio amps..... Or they did installs only.. Most of the time Google works but not in this case for me.

Dang. Another option is to send it out. There are a couple of shops listed in ebay.

Another option is like Jimi77 suggested. Using an electronics cleaning spray like DeoxIT, drip it into that slope switch and cycle it. Dirty potentiometers also sometimes cause noise.
