Amp repair center

Sending my American Bass VFL-120.1 in to get repaired. They are only a half hour away, but super nice over the phone and it sounds like the guy can fix just about anything. Anyone have expierence with this place?

Stories not good. thats ok, I live close and will come pick up the amp personally if get the hint there is a problem.

I sent them a Brutus 1606D and for $135 plus shipping they repaired it, except it still didn't work right and blew up after three days. Emailed him(didn't get a reply for a week) and he said since I didn't try it out right away(over 3 months of his warranty) so he wanted to charge me another $75 plus shipping to get it right. A new Brutus 1600 watt amp costs about $170, so I got porked on that one.

People over at Termpro are all pissed off about them too.
