i have a amp called md sounds md-2634. Im powering two 12" subs with this. The ratings on the amp says :

65 watts x 4 at 4 ohms

85 watts x 4 at 2 ohms

170 x 2 mono

how do i make the amp mono so i can recieve the most power? the amp also says its 2 ohm stable, its bridgeable. I tried bridging it, but it doesnt seem to work.

I'm not an expert, but how are you trying to bridge it. Different amps require different settings or hookups to bridge.

The one I'm having shipped for instance requires you to connect from the positive of one speaker channel to the negative of the other channel.

For example Positive left rear to negative right rear.

The instructions should tell you exactly which side (L or R) will be positive. Sometimes there are switches instead to combine sources internally to one output.
