I want to get more power to my SQ HDS 2 15s than the Kicker ZX 1500 is pushing.. Any other good amps that you guys recommend for me.. I need the amp to get 2400 watts @ 2 ohms

What is your budget?

Its gonna cost some money to get this power.

Checkout soundqubed, american bass, digital designs, hifonics (brutus or elite models), Precision Power. Sundown, db drive.

If you want a certain model or brand we will need a budget amount.

That amp would only do 1680 watts rms @ 1 ohm if it was 100% efficient, But the amp is not only not 1 ohm stable, it will not do no more then 600-800 watts at 2 ohms if you are lucky.

For 500$ you can get a known amp that will do rated.

What are you HDS215'S voicecoils config???

Dual 2 ohm or Dual 4?

If they are Dual 4 then you can wire them to 1 ohm if not they can go down to .5 ohm...

Try out the Brutus BRX-2400.1D..

find a ddm2a used here on the fourms.. its exactly what you want = wire it to .5 ohms and it will give 2400 ish depending on electrical.

i love my ddm2a when i had it on my pair of re sx 18s in the burb at .5 with crazy good electrical. i liked it so much i got a m3a for my bigger build

i still have m2a with remote but i might be hoarding it haha

With a little patience I bet you could find 2 aq/sq 1200ds and strap them. I've seen them sell for as low as 160 on here before.

The newer models do not, but the brutus models do near or right at rated.

If you have the money then do like was said above get a dd amp.

If your just trying to get rated power for less money then hifonics brutus, american bass vfl amps, cadence & many others will do for less then 500.

You can even buy a soundqubed 3500.1 for near 700 or 800 & a sundown near 3000 watts for 800+.

Buying bigger is always better for more room to throw more power.

How big is your alternator and have you invested in any batteries?
