Amp rated at 12.6 vs 14.4

So if 2 amps were rated at the same RMS power but one was at 12.6 and the other 14.4 would the amp rated at 12.6 need a less powerful electrical?
probably not because most amps rated at 12.6v put out more than rated power some lots more like orion xtrs because they hopefully are running closer to 14v in car.. also if volts drop to say 13v or less the 12.6v amp would put out more power (and **** more power) than the 14.4v would since it won't even be at rated voltage..

i think what you are trying to ask it would the amp rated at 12.6 be more efficient? in this case t depends on the amplifier but generally the higher voltage will be more efficient simply because of the physics behind electrical. now the 12.6 volt rated amp will be more powerful given you can provide the power.

regardless 3000 watts of current consumption has nothing to do with voltage. is does mean that you need MORE current at 12.6 than 14.4 but reguardless if you can supply hte current it doesn't matter
