Amp rack part two

Setup is looking good, I like where you are going with it. My only gripe would be that the amp layout does look good but then you just have the sub sitting there, its not incorporated into the overall trunk space.

If you had time, I would take a look into maybe having the amps flank the sub along that back wall portion. I'm not sure how long the biggest one is but you could use a beauty panel to hide the size differences, then put the sub in the middle with a small slot port out the same face as the sub, or maybe to keep your aero port you could run it up the top where it wouldn't distract from the symmetry on the face.

Or is there any chance you could tuck the sub into one of the sides and keep the amps as they are?

Either way looking good though, and I'm looking forward to the "finished" pics. Are these systems EVER truely finished lol.

yea, i like that idea except i'd like to keep my spare and keep it somewhat simple to get to.
This can be the hardest part in the whole process, at least it seems to be for me. Making things look good, yet remain simple and relatively sedate WHILE maintaining functionality can really push the limits of the design as you have to think right down to how everything will work and how to hid hinges or how beauty panels may fit into the design instead of just slapping something together that looks good but might be 100% perminant to the vehicle.

nope, they are never really finished. at least for me. i am always making changes, whether it be little or big. i think the carpet will make it look real nice. we'll see shortly. the carpet will be here here wednesday.

Sounds good. I haven't even really started my install but I already got 2 different ways I want to change it after it is first done lol. Keep up the good work.

well i actually consider the box covering part of it a good thing. the only flaw i see to this whole layout is that once amp is smaller than the other. so with both amps at the same angle it won't look quite right. but now the smaller amp is 1/3 hidden so you'll never know.
Actually, that makes sense I didnt even notice at first. Good work

Looks good man deff like the 2nd one alot better. now just carpet it will look clean and simple:D.
thanks! carpet along with a subwoofer grill are on the way. it'll be here tomorrow. i might do it tomorrow. depends how nice it is outside. but i will post new pics of it when it's done. it will look good. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

what do you guys think now?

it definately looks simple and clean. if it were mine id try and incorporate the sub in there so it didnt block an amp and didnt just look like theres a sub box thrown in there.

not bashing in anyway im just anal for symmetry lol looks clean though.

does that carpet on the the amp rack really have that different of a color than the rest of\r does the flash just make it look that way.
