I'm replacing a diesel 440 watt 2 channel amp it has a 8 gauge power cord. I'm replacing with a xpr 540 dual do I use the same 8 gauge power or do I need to change because this amp is 1200 peak. I know this isn't the greatest amp but it was free and its just temp. its pushing 4 kickers 2 6.25 2 6.5 from 2006 not 100% of wattage on them. right now the amp is a 2 channel bridged I'm going to undo them and turn them into a 4 channel. any suggestions complete noob.
