Amp question brutus brz2400.1d

hello i have a brutus brz2400.1d connected to 2 kicker cvx 15" at 2 ohms ,i have big 3 in my car and XS power D3400 battery 3300 max amps i have it running for 2 years now with no problems it sounds real good deep bass but i want some more,im trying to buy 2 more kickers cvx 15" 2 ohms so i can have a total of 4 subs connected at 1 ohm load, my question is if is possible to connect all 4 subs to 1 amp brutus brz2400.1d and have all 4 subs perform good or do i need a second amp, please help me

thanks

You can run 4 on it. If you got a second amp, you would need an ho alt too. Or you could get 2 better subs. Are your cvx in a custom ported?

Way to small box. Why don't you start with that before you add more crap, port them and it will be just as loud or louder than 4 sealed. Do you even have room to put them in a right box? Those need about 4.5 cubes per sub.

My thoughts exactly...a proper box will be 16 cubes..and ppl wonder why my 2 12s are louder than their 6 12 or 4 15s lol

I used to have them in a ported Box but it was too small 2.2 cubic feet, tuned at 38 hertz that's how I bought them, since I don't have the room for 4.5 each cubic feet ported Box, I put them in a sealed box according to kickers the especificaciones for a sealed box is 1.8, I'm gonna try to make a custom ported Box 4.5 cubic feet each just to see if they get louder that the 1.8 sealed box

This is exactly why you should start to work your way into understanding modeling software. You can predict the outcome fairly accurately with just a few minutes of work.

1.8cf per sub is the smallest rec. sealed box size, surprisingly though, there's not much difference in performance compared to 5cf each. The advantage is seen in the very low frequencies and wouldn't be much of a factor for most music.

If you go with a good ported box -- say, 3.0 (net) per sub tuned to 32 you'll get about +6db at 40hz.

At the high and low ends of the freq response (below 30/above 60) the large sealed box will catch up, but in that 30-60 range you'd get quite a bit more output from the ported box.

Going a bit larger and tuning a few hz lower looks even better.
