amp problems

i have one more question which really stumbles me

when i had my 10'' l5 hooked up to this same amp i had those settings cranked to where i was beatin the crap out of the thing.

i never had this problem, until i switched subs

was the L5 dual-2 or dual-4?

it was wired to 2 ohm i believe it was dual 4

went from positve to positive, neg. to neg.

can u screw a amp up by pluggin it to a blown sub while listen to music

Not as far as I know. with a blown sub, the coils show infinite resistance. The only ways I know to hurt an amp are clipping, running too low of a load, or letting it over heat by having an amp with a bad heatsink and putting it somewhere that air can't get to easily.
