amp problem???

A while ago i had asked about my radio in the cavalier. I have a 12 inch pioneer (older model) and was running a dual amp to it. Well it was great for about a year. Then all of a sudden one day it just stoped working. So i check it out and when i turn the volume over 11 or so the amp goes into protect mode. Well i tried a different amp with it.(CA200 profile), same result. So i tried a different sub and same result again. So i am totally confused. Does anyone have an idea.

maybe a loose wire somewhere...check every wire from ur battery to ur speakers

90 percent of the time it is a bad ground that causes this, so clean your ground good and check chasis ground under the hood
