for clarifications, im refering to j100

as you can see, the internal jack is a little more open than the ones on j101, i tried to rebend them in, did nothing.

alright. so, i should clip out the heads, then take out most of the leads to the boards, but leave a little as a solder point, from there on attatch the new lead and re fasten/solder the heads in? if im correct.

yes... just make sure your easy on the solder when re-installing.... you can get a tiny strand that will short, if not careful

From what I understand the jacks are loose correct. Two things you can do replace the jack with the same ones I have them at my shop, remove the old solder (with solder wick) and apply new solder Or get female RCA jacks and solder them to the board. What do you think?

Edit: looked at pics again looks like bad solder joints for sure you can always solder them from above as that is a double board.

also is that a rockford fosgate amp?

ironically the site says its currently unavailable.

anyways alright, ill try and call em up, if not, ill re heat the solder, may be a cold joint. if not that.. solder the heads on, if not again, your going to get your first business on here.
