Amp Power Cable In Focus

I am having a very hard time tring to find out where to get the power cable through the firewall on my 2001 focus. I had no problem on my 94 mustang but i cannot find exactly where to get it. Everybody i have talked to have just said through the grommit. I dont know where that is. Does anybody know exactly where i would get it through the firewall.

find a drill, find a spot where you wont drill through anything important.... drill. Get your own grommet.. walla your done.

The grommet is just a circular rubber piece that holds the tubing(wires) going through it. If you can find one, just make sure you know where the other side is inside of your car, I suggest you get a book for your car because this part can be tricky. Then just make sure its safe to do this, and poke a hole with a coat hanger or other small object and fit your wire through, by safe to do this make sure the line running through the grommet isn't a gas line or other fluid holding line, or any other easily damagable lines go. Best choice, beside drilling one yourself, would be find the loom that goes from your fuse box in your engine compartment and follow it to the grommet find where it comes out on the other side then do the surgery. I really made it sound more complicated then it is.
