Amp is on, Subs make weird noise and don't work

i just wired two 4ohm 10" pioneer subs. i wired them at 2 ohms to go to my amp. when i turned it on everything worked fine and i set my gain and lpf and i was listening for about 10 mins, and then all of the sudden they cut out. i checked my amp and it is on and the protection mode light ISNT on. i checked the box terminal and it's still reading 2 ohms. i pushed the sub and it didn't make any noises. when i turn on the car they make a weird like heartbeat sound and then they don't work. and then when i shut the car off it makes the noise again. does anyone know what may be the problem? the amp is 1500 watts(600rms) and the subs are 1100watts(300rms) each. so i don't see how it woulda blown them if that's what it is.

the amp is a boss armor 1500 watt. the gain was only about 3/4 of the way up and i didn't hear any distortion. i am new to this so i may have just not known what i'm listening for. will the box terminal still read 2 ohms if the subs are blown?

it can, but i dont think your subs are blown

that amp is the lowest of the low. not to beat you down, just to tell you the truth. avoid it at all costs and try to find yourself a nice 1000w amp instead

ppi1000.1 is a solid option. ask us for help, or research, how to set gains properly or you will break stuff.

1500w max for boss is like 100w rms. RMS is not max, rms is ACTUAL power. you want ACTUAL power not a big number on the box. wait until you hear the difference

the subs are 10" pioneers, TS-W256R. are those good quality subs or no? i knew the amp wasn't the best when i got it but i didn't think it'd stop working after 10 minutes.
the subs are whay better than the amp but it should do about 400rms.. #1 if have after market radio and u ran rca to it's preamps u have gain way to high needs to be about .40% at most not 75%.. #2 check ground maynot be tight, did u sand paint off if not sand paint and put ground back.. #3 dod u run rca wire on top of power wire? if so run rca down middle of car over the seats see if problem stops (after u check ground) if that stops noise run rca on other side of car.. #4 did u wire subs correctly + and -?

i will check my ground connection. would the amp still turn on even if it wasn't grounded good enough? i ran the rca wire on the opposite side of the power wire and yes i'm sure i put positive to positive and negative to negative if that's what u meant

yes, it will still power up.

turns out it was the amp, i hooked an old alpine mrp-350 that i had and they worked. does anyone recommend any amps that would match those subs good? again 2 10" pioneers 1100 peak 300rms. or any certain things to look for when looking at amps?
