I got a word from a amp guy that somethin is possibly loose on the board.

description from owner before me:
I have an Autotek MM-2000.1d that has been serviced before (unknown reasons) and looks like a cap and diode was replaced in the input section. It currently goes straight into protect with nothing or everything connected on power up. I bought it used here and it worked for about 20 minutes then started going into protect at random and then randomly coming out of protect. When out of protect, the gain stage worked just fine and so did the crossover section. I was planning on trying to fix it but I can't get the clips off the FETs so up for sale it goes. I would bet you could send it off to db-r or some other amp repair center and get it fixed relatively cheap. It works sometimes and then just goes straight to protect at other times.
