you can do this, but you need to be very careful when tuning it, start off with the gain all the way down, dont bother with bass boost, put that all the way down, then slowly bring the gain up and listen for clipping in the sub, once you hear this, pull back on the gain a bit.

U will over power the woofer before you hear any sort of clipping. ^ bad advice. The first comment was right about go find a YouTube video explaining how to set gains with a dmm.
