Amp help!!!!

I just ordered these today to replace my ancient sony xplods that i have had for years that finnaly gave way last week.

well i got 2 KICKER CVR10"'s

here is the specs:

What Watt amp would work best for these subs? i would like to get another 2 channel amp the one i had on my xplods was a 430wat sony amp? would that be enough to power it for a while until i can find another amp?

the cvr's sensitivity rating is 83.6 db, thus not very efficient so even though the sony amp will produce some sound, don't expect much as you'll need to wire the subs in series unless the sony is 1 ohm stable. i'd look for a mono amp rather than 2 channel, in the 750~1000 rms range. set your gains properly. let us know your price range for the amp and we can make some recommendations for you.

Well, if that amp is 2ohm stable in stereo, then it would be fine pushing them..... Even though they are only rated at that sensitivity, they still play well at higher volumes..... An 800@1, or 2x400@2ohms will work good, and you could always go with a zx750, which would be perfect, or look around the classifieds here for anything that sparks your interest... Just remember not to push the amp past it's limits. The modern kickers are a little more sensitive to clipping heat...

Im on a budget so my price range is 100 or less. I saw a few 800wats on ebay for 50 -60 bucks such as the explod, legacy etc...

I just need a good budget amp.

Im really looking at the kicker zx750 amp that was sugested but i have a question. Since it is a mono amp and only 1 channel how do i wire both subs to the amp?

Wire them in parrallel to present a 2 ohm load at the terminal.

also i was reading reviews and most said this amp is hard ont he altenator and battery. This system will be going into a civic. Do i need to buy a capacitator wiring kit?

My apologies i missed the fact they are both 4ohms...if thats the case i believe you can only wire them either to a 1ohm or 4 ohm load...unfortunately that kicker amp is not 1ohm stable.
