well i know how to install the audio, i installed my last system by myself, and im young but built my own 67 shelby mustang so i know cars im just lacking in the audio know how which is why i cam here. installing the audio components isnt the hard part but knowing which audio components to install is. which again is why i came here to get help from people who know what their talking about. if im willing to pay more to get the best why should it matter to you. i simply asked if money isnt an option what would be the best thing to do in my situation.

13tw5 is nice, quality is amazing and the output is solid too, especially in your truck, should sound real nice. anyway if you plan on running 2, find an amp that is going to put out 1200-1400 watts at 1.5ohms. (I ran almost 600 to mine and I really think it can take a little bit more, the amp was holding the sub back a little so I bought a new one, or its on its way). Anyway 1200-1400 @ 1.5ohms, the higher the sensitivity the better and the same goes for efficiency.

Okay, here is a question for you. Is your truck a crew cab? How much room is under your back seat? My old system was a Jl Audio 500/1 with a pair of 10w3v3s in a sealed box and it sounded good but I wanted my subs to be more louder. The mounting depth on the 10w3s was almost to my limit and now I have ordered me a new sub box and a pair of RE SR 10s in a ported box. It should be nice and loud. I have a Sundown 1000D and I am wiboth of my subs down to 1ohm. The mounting depth on the RE SRs are like 5.xx something where I have like 6-7 inches under my rear seat for box and subs. I thought I would share with you.

i have a 2 door extended cab, and i lifted my back seat by about an inch and a half. so i would say i have about 8 inches but ill measure it tomorrow. but today i was thinking.... my rear seat is the 60/40 setup so if i took out the 60, bought another 40 and built a bracket and put the other 40 on the other side it would give me over a foot of room in the middle of my truck which would also leave me room to expand to take out my center console in the future for another sub. but i was thinking of getting a juggernaut 15, and run 2000 watts to it. any1 have any good or bad experiences with the jugg? and what amp do u recommend i get, if price isnt an option?

also does any1 know anything about the digital design series? they any good? im looking for something that hits really hard but also has good quality

have u actually heard how loud is the TW5? Listen first and see if u really want it or not. Don't get too excited with amplifiers from alpine yet. There're other amps that you can choose but first, do good research.

Asfar as SPL wise if u want other ppl to hear ur car from few blocks away and increase ur chance of getting your vehicle and gear stolen, go for a good ported box either tube port or L port is fine . In this case for a truck i'd say a tube port is suitable

@ JOshua dammm boi u are balling with 2 hertz 15" that thing gonna bang like crazy. ya i was thinking of getting the 15'' juggernaut in a ported box. but idk which amp to get im thinking of running 2000 watts to it rms, any1 have any suggestions? and to get it to fit in my truck my plan is this, i have the extended regular cab with the 60/40 bench seat in the back. i plan on buying another 40 section of seat, taking out the 60 and mounting the new 40 on the other side opposite the old 40 section. which leaves me with about a foot and a half of room right in the middle of the truck. which is where i would put the juggernaut 15 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Christ, now I remember why I stopped coming here...

Ahh, give the guy a break. He's 18. Back many years ago when I was his age I was sporting my mom and dads 15" Cerwin Vega home speakers in my back seat of my Mustang GT. But, he also has the internet to use as a crutch. I did not.

haha thank you ge0, but its alright if people are just gonna be in a pissy mood idc, im just here to try and learn and improve on myself, im probly atleast 4 years or so younger than most people on here, and im just trying to make sure that i dont spend my money on a system that isnt going to be to my satisfaction. so if they wanna give me **** cause i asked stupid questions and themselves be hypocritical because they once had to ask em themselves, then screw it. im happy to take what i can from others who are willing to take the time to pass on knowledge rather than try to insult me.
