Alright, so I have a 1994 tercel and the audio system is completely stock (crap). So over the past few weeks I've been buying stuff for a new system. So far I have a new alpine deck, 4" alpine speakers (front doors), and 6.5" alpine speakers (rear). So now I've hit a snag. I'm not sure if I want two 10" subs or two 8" subs. I want the 10's but I don't want my car to rattle down the street lol.
But I've found what I think is a pretty good deal and I can get two Alpine SWS-1023D for about $160.
The specs are as follows:
* 900 watts max output
* 300 watts RMS (150 per coil)
* 10" sub
* Extra reinforced pulp cone with aluminum finish (Rev-lar made for long lasting sub)
* 3/4" rubber surrounds
* dual 2 ohm voice coils (you can run at 1 or 4 ohms) (2 subs @ 2 ohm or .5 ohm)
* stamped steel basket
* frequency response 30-700 Hz
* sensitivity 84 dB
* top-mount depth 4 3/8"
* sealed box volume: 0.65-1.5 cubic feet
* ported box volume: 1.0-1.75 cubic feet
So my question is this should I get those two 10's for a 1994 tercel, AND PLEASE recommend amps to power the things.
