Amp Help? Kickers O.K?

Did i read that right???Give me a few links with amps that are comparable.Prices are not better! Do some research! As for power ratings, the t10001bd does 14xx rms average. The 20001bd does 2800 RMS average. So why is it such a big deal that your kickerr is 290rms underrated.
Can't say much about quality, but RF does not make shitty amps.

Like I said, show me a birthsheet for a 10001 or a 20001 that shows 1400 or 2800 watts. You wont find one. As for the difference, I am not going to bother getting technical as it would be nothing but a waste of time. Rockfords old shit was **** good. Some of their amps would still get hot enough to cook on at the rated impedance. First off, what experience do you have with rockford or kicker products?. What amps of each brand have you owned?. I have owned 30+ of each brand so I speak from experience. Do you?. meh, I am done...this arguement is pointless. Some of rockfords new shit belongs at walmart with the road gear junk.

It's been said several times on their forums at their site. I could of sworn i seen a chart that tells all the amps and their averages on their site. Am i seeing things? Ok, let's say the 20001 does 2280 (like you said), the 2500.1 did 27xx. Their power ratings are similar as far as underrating goes..

To the original poster, you can't go wrong with either. They both make solid amps...

Did I read that right?....Kickers amps for one are far more reliable than any of the new shit rockford has produced. Prices are better as well as design. My kx1200.1 is only rated at 1200@1ohm and puts out 290 watts over rated power. You can tell just by opening up a rockford and kicker amp side by side that kicker is built to higher standards. Not to mention kickers warranty is far superior. Try getting a rockford amp warranteed and see the BS you go through. /rant

You kicker puts out 300 more..cool. I've seen multiple rf x7 BS's that read the same.

but the two amps are not compare able at all they are not even in the same class.. i got rid of the 20001 because i wanted more power and i wouldnt compare the two because they are in different classes,, i mean you cant compare a 20001 to a IA20.1 or orion2500d.. thats all we are saying... and yes i have OWNED a 20001 and now OWN a ZX2500.1

I'm not putting anyone down or dissing any brands. I am just gonna keep it quiet and with respect. I just messed with their power lines. I tweaked with the 10001bd and the 20001bd a few times. Only kicker amp was the zx1000.1. Birthsheet on the 20001bd was 26xx, the zx10001.1 was a little under 1400RMS, and the 10001bd, my friend claimed he lost it. But i guess we can keep it at that before it gets technicall...

Damn you!!, Just when I thought the debate was over . Some rockford amps(ie the older models) had a tendency to run very warm. Some of mine did and some didnt. As for the rockfords putting out over rated power...that isnt so much the issue here. He stated that kicker was not up to par with rockford. I felt it necessary to offer my rebuttle. I have had a much easier time with kicker warrantying my items than I have rockford. With rockford it was a straight pain in the ***. Kicker on the other hand has never given me 1 problem with warrantying my items. As a matter of fact I have hardly ever had a prob with kicker items. I have with rockford. So, my main point is that rockfords build quality has gone down considerably where as kicker seems to still be doing very well. That is all.

Did you misread? I never said kicker was not up there with RF. I just said they are considered to be on par with RF amps, meaning they are both at the same level. And if kicker is below RF, then it would be right under RF, which makes both of them close....

Kicker has helped me out when I was out of warranty ....rockford on the other hand would not:crap: As for the rest of your post I totally agree.
